Q.1 Communication is an interactive process. Briefly explain.
Answer-Communication is a main way to express our view as speaker to a receiver.
Communication is the transfer of meaning. It is a process that contains messages. These messages are covering a context according our ideas and thinking. It is a result of interaction of people that processes communication. It is a successful way to define our-self. Face to face communication skill is more important to express our emotions in reality. People places meaning and structure on the variety of message received from other.
Communication process has seven elements that are written below-
1. Sender
2. Message
3. Receiver
4. Feedback
5. Channle
6. Context
7. Interference
Sender and receiver understand the same information as result of communication. Each of the channels of communication requires skill suited to the three types of communication like verbal communication, nonverbal, graphic are used to send message. Perception has a significant influence on communication. Every receiver understands about any types of message according their experience, attitudes or expectations. Feedback is showing the reaction done by receiver. These messages are sending by conversation, letter, telephone and other means of media. Some times interference creates misunderstanding between sender and receiver. Even then communication is a perfect way to live in touch of others.

Q.2 Define and given an example of verbal, nonverbal and graphic communication.
ANS-Communication is a way to express our feelings and ideas. People who are communication-oriented are often successful at work. Communication lets us learn more about ourselves and world around us.Channle of communication require skills suited to the form of communication that sends the message. Communication skills are dividing into three forms;
1. Verbal communication
2. Nonverbal
3. Graphic
These are forms of communication send messages through the various channels. These are explain below-
1. Verbal communication-It is one way for people to communicate face to face. It is spoken, oral and written way to communicating It makes the use of words, vocabulary, numbers and symbols. Verbal communication is form of spoken words two or more people. Some key components of verbal communication are sound, words, speaking and language.
2. Nonverbal communication-It is usually understood as the process of communication through sending and receiving message. It is sent by any means other than words or graphics. Nonverbal communication is occur in oral, written and graphic communication. The components of nonverbal communication are including body language, expressions.
3. Graphic communication-It represents the ideas and relations with shapes diagrams and lines. It can express both verbal and nonverbal components –for example ‘No Smoking’ signs displayed in public places.

Q.3 a. Define the terms ‘sender’ and ‘receiver.
A Sender- Senders are individuals who react to situations from a unique vantage point, interpreting ideas and filtering experience through their own perception. The sender encodes an idea and feeling in words or signs that the receiver will recognise and transmit this message to the receiver.
B Receiver – Receiver interprets the message to achieve understanding. Then receiver is also acting as an individual form a unique vantage point interpreting the idea according to the particular personal perception of the message. This perception is according to the receiver’s unique background of experience attitudes, beliefs etcetera.
C .Message-Message is an object of communication. It is something that provides information and it cans information itself. Message is the idea or feeling transmitted from sender to receiver to achieve understanding .It works as a connection between both. Instant message and e-mail are examples of computer software designed for delivering human readable messages from one person to another.
D Feedback-Feedback is a constant result of information as people interect.Feedback describes the situation when output from an event in past will influence the same in present or future. It encouraging the speaker to continue, listeners respond in a way that show their comprehensive and acceptance or non acceptance of the message feedback is an essential part successful communication.
It shows the receivers response to senders message.
The main elements are –1give the communication continuity.
2 Misunderstanding of message.

Feedback the need of sender and receiver. It is important to the speaker to determine how the message is being received helps receiver’s understand how their behaviour affects other. So the ability to provide acceptable feedback can assist the development of good working relationship and productivity of business.

Q.4-A --Define Perception- It is a significant influence on communication. It is useful to look closely at it. The way of perceiving message may be different of sender and receiver. It is a way people understand their environment. Perception is a scholarly journal experimental result over human, animal, and machine perception. Each individual’s perception is influenced by their life experience, attitude, feeling, beliefs and expectation. For example one person may perceive the colour white as peaceful and comfortable, while an other person may perceive the colour white as formal or past fashion.

ANS Perception has an important effect on communication. Every one’s perception is influenced by some elements that are written below-
A Self concept- it shows our personal ideas about any thing.
B Family-This affects our way of understanding.
C Culture-behaviour and values
D Communication skill- it shows our attitude, respect.

Michael is able to make further contact with his client firm by letter, telephone or personal visit.
(A). Outline the advantage and disadvantages of the three possible channels of communication.
Ans-Advantages of letter
1 visual information is included
2 it does not use any electronic means so it is a lot cheaper
3it is enables long distance communication to take place
4 a written record of the message will be kept
Disadvantages
1 some times it can take long time to deliver
2. it can be lost and can be opened and read or sent to a wrong address

He can also get extensive knowlegeabout the market. He can understand the mood and behaviour of clients, build effective relationship too. So personal visit is most important way to contact with potential clients.

Even then we have good skill to promotion but our breakdown of communication process. So communication skills are more important.

Ans workplace that provides a product or service to other must operate with other people’s interaction with clients, customers, staff and the member of an organisation required communication and will succeed if the communication is effective. It plays an important roll at workplaces. It occurs for a number of direct or indirect reasons. It is necessary for passing information between the people working in the same place. Ans communication is a learnt behaviour. Human communication verbal and nonverbal is based upon culture expectation and learnt behaviour. It controls and limits on human freedom, all kind of institutes and in politics.
G- Why is it important for both sender and receiver of a message to have empathy for the other persons?
Ans It means the feeling are same of sender and receiver. It is the ability to put one self to an other person’s place and understand the emotions thoughts and motives of another person.

1-persons A and B are to discuss a topic of interest by taking opposite sides. Person C is the observer
2person A opens the discussion .person B gives feedback to person A by summarising what person A has said before giving the opposite view. Person a summarises what person B has before person A continues with their opposing view.
3 continue this for 10 minutes when person C believes that either person A or B has not summarised the other person’s point of view accurately person C can give feedback to bothy A and B.
ANS (A) Group of three A and B are discussing opposite side of topic and C is observing .A starts the discussion and both gives feedback to each other. Then an other person observes that C can give the feedback.
